How to set 3D Desktop in Fedora Linux
Setting up 3D Desktop in Fedora Linux is a really easy job. Anyone can perform this task and convert his boring Linux Desktop into some high quality 3D desktop machine. The software which we need is Compiz. The Software Compiz is not only available to install on Fedora machines but many other Linux Distributions. They are:-- Arch Linux
- Debian
- Fedora
- Gentoo
- OpenSUSE
- Pardus
- Sabayon
- Ubuntu
Select the appropriate options in System => Preferences => Desktop Effects
KDE users must run the following commands:-
compiz --replace gconf &
gnome-window-decorator &
Compiz has many plugins inbuilt and they can also be added easily.
